The Line is Drawn !

Today is a sad day to be a Christian. My heart is heavy for the lives lost and freedom of choice, denied.

Yes, I am a CHRISTIAN and proud to call myself HIS ! For I answer to HIM and will be accountable to HIM, alone.

Obviously the majority of mankind, fears man and does not fear or respect God and His will and ways for them.

Since when is being a Christian and standing on God’s will for mankind constitute a crime. I guess today in some States. You might as well imprison me now and throw away the key. I do not hate and will not tolerate hate. I am Christian and I am a minority, what of my rights ?

If you don’t like the message, change the channel. Go someplace else. No one here is forcing you to agree or disagree. I care about all mankind’s eternal SOUL, maybe you should to.

My Lord taught me to show love and respect to all people. But obviously people don’t have to accept this but feel they have the “right” to force their “want”, on my will.

We as a nation and a people have worked hard as a society to get away from discrimination and segregation but it seems that this is not good enough but now we have to be forced to accept what we do not believe in. Or face the wrath of public criticism or worse, even death. That folks is not love and that is not what Christ Jesus teaches.

The public is entitled to their opinion and I and others like me are not? How is this fair? I have never said folks could not live the way they wanted or believe what they want. I have always treated everyone with fairness, love and respect.

Yet now, in some places in my own country, let alone around the world, I can be imprisoned, beaten, ridiculed and abused without probable cause. What’s not so funny is the fact that it wasn’t accepted when it was happening to others, but now it is accepted for those that chose to follow Christ.

Even though, I have never done these things to anyone. I have fought for fairness and equality for others for decades. Yet I ask, who will stand with me and our Lord now? I never thought that would ever be a question needing to be asked. But there it is !

I hope and pray the Clergy, Preachers, and Ministers of the (TRUE) faith, start teaching the whole word of God and quite selectively pandering to public opinion. Which in my opinion is disrespectful to my Lord.

Keep in mind that you are not doing God service in not doing so, but rather giving Satan service and support by not doing so.

But opinions change and only time will tell if people like myself and this ministry can stand the fiery darts and or sway the hard-hearted non-believer as to what it really means to be the light on the table.

As for me and my house, we will serve our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

My line is drawn.

Sincerely IHS and all mankind’s,
Archbishop Andrew R. M. Manley

“Thy Holy Writ”

Jeremiah chapter 16, verse 16

16 “Behold, I will send for many fishermen,” says the Lord, “and they shall fish them; and afterward I will send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain and every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.

————-
Warriors, do you consider yourself to be truly and fully “Christian” ? Do you know what is expected of you that call yourself “Christian” ? Are you prepared to do the work of the Lord as it has never been done before ? Being Christian is not just a word, it is a life style. A life style that is good, decent, loving and kind to all in this world, not just your small piece of it. Although we all have to start someplace.

When I have talked to you about things more important to you than God, what is it do you think I am talking about ? Do you think my words to harsh or not harsh enough ? Do you regard my messages as “whatever” ? Do you think for a moment that I do not love and worry about you, your life, your families and the such ?

I guess every preacher in the world asks themselves these questions from time to time. It is our job as directed by God to help you realize the truth of his will for your life and those that you love and care about.

The Prophet Jeremiah is trying to do his best to relay the message of Chapter 16 to those who need to hear it the most. Those that are lost. So to speak. It is a warning to all who do not follow after the way of the Lord with all diligence and respect. The fishermen in this passage are the increased ministers of the word of God and the hunters are those that are truly righteous and they will make known the truth and force evil out of the darkness and into the light for all mankind to see and know.

As a community of the Christian faithful, we need to make known that we are fishers of men and hunters of righteousness and Godliness. We need to stand firm on the word of God, Christ His Son and allow the Holy Spirit to work in our lives. As well as the lives of those around us.

A very dear friend asked me to comment on this verse and at first I was reluctant but when you do as God wants everything falls into place and the message becomes clear. Clear at least to those that want to do His will in their lives. And there are many, many of you out here that do and for this I am pleased and so to is the Father. So please bring your questions concerning the scriptures to me. For I know that you are wanting to know the ways of our governance, our lord Jesus Christ. Keep in mind that sometimes it is best to read an entire chapter or two to understand His meanings and mostly pray. Pray before during and even after and ask the Father what it is He wants you to learn and may even do with the new-found understanding that He has given you. You just might be surprised of how He will use you to do His work, either as a fisher of men or maybe a hunter of the truth for His sake for all mankind.

Pray for those that need prayer like the lost throughout the world in places like North Korea, and the Middle East. I fear it is they that this scripture is in reference to. Them and all mankind that do not accept the Fathers teachings. Just remind folks if need be that Christ was not just a prophet like Jeremiah or any other, he “IS” the Son of MAN and GOD, for all mankind. Not just one group of believers that think they are right and all other people’s are infidels or the such.

Have a blessed day folks and know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
God bless…

Sincerely your servant in the name of the Christ, Jesus

The Sacrament of Baptism

The Sacrament of Penance or known as Penitents

The Sacrament of the Holy Eucharist also known as Communion

The Sacrament of Confirmation

The Sacrament of Matrimony which is Marriage

The Sacrament of Holy Orders other wise known as Ordination

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

sac

They are to be classified as an outward sign given and instituted by Christ as examples of giving grace. Jesus Christ is the sacrament. For he gave his life to save mankind. He and His gift to the world was an outward symbol of his love, grace, mercy, humility and humanity to the generations of mankind. It is fitting and proper that we continue to pass on through the generations these examples which are the foundation of all Christian Faith. It is Christ that intercedes with the giving of the sacraments which allows His grace to continually effluence mankind.

In the days of Pentecost, Christ sent the Holy Spirit to the Apostles so to help them to govern over the flock as He did. He was and still is today the good shepherd and as a good shepherd watches over and still tends to His chosen through the means of the Holy Sacraments.

In the Gospel of John, chapter 17, verses 18, 20 & 21 is quoted as “ As the Father has sent me, even so I send you”. Christ is the head of all Christian faith and churches. This is reaffirmed through the scriptures of the book of Colossians, chapter 1, verse 18 which states that, Jesus is the head of his body the church. So that makes the church itself a sacrament, instituted by Christ to give grace to all Peoples.

These sacraments are the holy examples given to the body of His church so to aid one to lead a good life in this world and help save mankind by giving us all the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.

Jesus put forth and instituted the sacraments as part of the Liturgical of early Christendom and are now tradition to be passed on for all future generations. We celebrate in the mysteries of Christ’ life. Through His sacrifice on the cross, in His dyeing and through His resurrection. The word Sacrament is derived from the Greek word for mystery and was translated in the Latin to be sacramentum, now in the English translation to be sacrament.

The following forgoing are exemplified in reference to Ephesians, chapter 1, verse 19, also chapter 3, verse 9 as well as in Colossians, chapter 1, verse 27. With the grace of salvation given to mankind by Christ’s Crucifixion are now formally expressed through the giving of the sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation, Communion, Penitent’s the Anointing of the Sick and Dyeing along with the granting of Ordination or as some call it, Holy Orders and Marriage. Keep in mind that the word Sacrament still means and is called the Mysteries of faith in tens of thousands of Christian Churches around the globe even today.

Many Christian Churches recognize these seven sacraments and hold steadfast on their inherent value or rather importance to what the early Christian leaders felt was to unify all followers of Christ’ and the Apostolic teachings. Think of it this way, if we were to break down the sacraments into say three distinct categories their inherent value can be understood in better relation as to why they are so important to all Christians. One, the initiation. The Initiations are the Baptism, Confirmation and Communion. Two, restorative or rather restore. The Restorative attributes are the sacraments of Penance as well as the Anointing of the Sick. I say restorative because both offer one healing and a renewal in life and even after life. That leaves us with two more and they are classified to some as inherent vocation. Which means that they are life altering in that they both unite two into one meaning to unify or join together unto the Holy Trinity. The are the vocation of Ordination / Holy Orders and Matrimony / Marriage.

This last one mentioned, Marriage is no less sacred as that of any other one of the six sacraments. It is for this reason and backed by the Holy Word of God, that marriage is and always will be, between a man and a woman. No other union is acceptable to the Holy Trinity and sacred values passed down to mankind through Christ, Himself. He made it what it is. Mankind has no right to perverse this sacred sacrament. No matter what man sanctions as rule in the land. God rules of the Church and the sanctity of these sacraments. Especially the sacrament of marriage.

sacrament1

The sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Ordination are given but once. Once for they are sufficient as a seal upon one’s soul as affirmed in the following scriptures. 2nd Corinthians, chapter 1, verses 21 & 22, Ephesians, chapter 4, verse 30 and the book of Revelations offer us a firm relation to it as a permanent seal in chapter 7, verse 3. There by making each sacrament an individual link to an external showing of public and even privet ritual or rite such as in a rite of passage, which it is. The symbolization of water used in baptism becomes a physical sensation that is felt by the element itself. By purifying and or cleansing ones person of past iniquities. It offers a renewed spiritual enlightenment of being “born again” pure and without sin.

This is essential for all persons of any era. Meaning the Past, Present and even Future. Every act of any of the sacraments offers a special ecclesiastical understanding and acceptance on the individual going through the ritual. It therefore becomes, the key which unlocks the proverbial closed heart and mind of mankind and opens it to the deity known as the Heavenly Father. It is the very basis of a foundation which builds on faith, communication and trust between man and the Holy Trinity.

It is no longer that man is alone in this world, but rather that through these rituals, one can begin to grow and see the world for what it really is and with a newness that only the grace of God on that person can give and even experience. It becomes for that person a form of continued growth in spirit and enabling them to begin to finally transform and unlock and let free, the true heart and soul that is unique to a lasting relationship between man and God.

The word baptism from the Greek means to immerse, dip or plunge. If the individual is an infant or adult it is customary to anoint them with Holy Oil. The Holy Oil is called the oil of catechumens. And so to give you a little better understanding of this I refer to the reference of Wikipedia which states that, the “oil of catechumens is to help strengthen the person about to be baptized, and prepare them for the struggle (ascesis) of the Christian life”. And that it “is the ointment of those preparing for baptism. It wards off what is evil. It brings wisdom and strength.” It also is to be blessed by a Bishop during the Holy Week and given to each congregation by the minister or priest. It is primarily used during baptism, and any occasion which requires a sanctified blessing. Such as with the other sacraments.

Allow me to also note here for further clarification, on the tradition of the baptismal rite. The ritual is usually witnessed by the parents, godparents, or individual making the profession of faith. The importance of the parents being present is to offer them an opportunity to reaffirm not only themselves of their own baptism but rather to solidify that they promise to bring the child up in the Christian way of life and guiding them along the path of life aiding the child to grow spiritually and firmly grounded in the Christian doctrine of the Holy Word of God. Not mankind and its many denominations. Though there is a place for all Christian denominations and non-denominations as long as what they teach is the true Holy word of God and not conjecture of theology or philosophy.

The presence of the “God Parent is to affirm that if, something untimely were to happen to the parents, that there will be another member of the Christian family (ie; fellow brother or sister in Christ, be they blood or not) that is trusted and respected by the parents and the church to step in if necessary and continue to raise the child within the organization and instruction of the body of Christ.

The traditional ritual of the baptism consists of a duly appointed and ordained minister immersing the baby or individual in water or by pouring water on their head, while saying “I baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.” Then the baby or elder individual is anointed with the blessed chrism oil.

The sacrament of baptism is the basis of the whole Christian experience. The very foundation if you will. It is a requirement and completely necessary for the saving grace of God to take place in one’s life. I refer to the Gospel of John, chapter 3, verse 5, which conveys that the person is a new in Christianity and is but a child no matter what age one takes the sacrament and then becomes by doing so, a child of God. Belong to Him and His family, for eternity.

I have to make mention here a note as to how special the rite of baptism truly is. In order to come to this phase of commitment with your spiritual newness, you must first be sent to Christ and accept all that He is and then you have to be accepted by Him (Christ Jesus), to warrant the calling to be baptized. For no one can go to Jesus unless the Father sends them and no one can come unto the Father unless Christ send them. That alone shows how special any individual (infant or adult) is to the Holy Trinity.

Also, before someones says, well the infant didn’t have a choice to accept what baptism is or even means and that it is not right to force it upon them. Wrong ! God and Christ with the Holy Spirit touched the parents and Godparents as well as the Church leaders. They, meaning the Holy Trinity and those called upon by them, had them ( the parents and godparents) bring forth the child and  given the sacrament. Remember, No One, means NO ONE, comes unto them, God or Christ unless they themselves invite you (infant or not) and then they send their loving and graciously merciful, Holy Spirit upon all of them and cause them to act and carry through with the ritual and rite of baptism on behalf of the said infant or child.

Well, for now I will leave you with these thoughts and over time I will write about the other six sacraments in detail as the Holy Trinity touches my heart to do so. However, for now this is enough meat for you to digest (so to speak). Until next time, may the love of God be with you and the calling of Jesus Christ upon your life lead you straight to Heavens gate and may it be opened unto you upon your arrival. In Jesus’ Holy and Blessed Name. I pray for you. Amen

God bless you always, sincerely your servant in Christ Jesus,

Personal Ordinariate (ordination) for other protestants…

On another web site I attend from time to time had a unique question and it deals with one being called by God into His service. And although I kinda take the long way around the bush, I’m sure you will understand what I mean…

Personal Ordinariate (ordination) for other protestants.
Brothers and Sisters, Please allow me to introduce my self, I am, Bishop Andrew R. M. Manley and I have a few thoughts of my own for this topic and question and so I regress. Although I am new to your forum, I am not new to the word of God. So with that said here’s my opinion on this subject, and yet I will only clip the tip of this question with my response.

Part of what is wrong with the “church” today is that it is so traditional and bogged down with each of it’s own bureaucracy that it takes years to make a decision. Unless the issue is the almighty dollar.

As an example I refer to the Vatican being extremely quick to displace several thousands of loyal Catholic worshipers by a forced, no bending policy and deadline to close many churches down and start selling them off to other faiths here in Northeast Ohio. And yes, there are a few appeals that have been sent along with petitions to try and stop this. Even when it is proven that some of these community churches can stand on their own merit as presented on their fiscal spread sheets.

However, that latter part is not so disturbing. It is within their power to do what ever they want. For them to say on one hand, we need more Priests in the ministry. And then displace thousands, isn’t the best business strategy to use under the circumstances. It’s like I said folks, there have been families that have been associated with the same congregation and church for four or five decades or even longer.

The process should be simple for if you feel that you are being called into the Saviors service, than all you need to do is personally or in secret, acknowledge and claim your faith is based on His teachings. Then by all means start ministering. I refer my remarks here to, and I am sure most of you know it, and that is the Gospel according to John: ch. 15, verse 16. (“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and “ordained you” that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.”)…There are several more that back this up and I am a firm believer that we need to expedite the process as quickly as possible.

If for nothing else it is because there is so much that has to be done throughout the world, where I hear Christian and non-Christians clamoring for more of the Fathers teachings. If we were to wait for a formal process of traditionalism to play out, I feel it would be to late.

So I ask you, which do you think Christ would want you to do? Then and only then, when you are absolutely sure make your decision based on the council of Him and not mankind. For their will be a time for a formal ordination in the future, but you all probably know this already.

Oh, yes, I could have just typed John, ch. 15, verse. 16 and left it at that. But a forum is to bring ideas together and cause one to look deep inside themselves for answers. And those answers would be the soft awareness of the Holy Spirit trying to lead you down the path that Father wants for you. Yet, the choice is always yours. I am also pretty sure that another verse should go here and it is Matthew ch. 22, verse 14. ( “Many are called, but few are chosen.” ). So I ask one final question of you and that being, why not answer the call. For you and only you will know that it is God calling you out…

No matter what you decide to do I will pray that all who read this are blessed and that one should answer the call, for it most likely will be our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on the other end… 😉

Sincerely yours in Christ,
Bishop Andrew

When is a Prophet not a Prophet?

Warriors and laity around the world, hear ye, hear ye. When is a Prophet not a Prophet? When we that are being prophesied to, don’t ad-hear to their words!

Most every Christian or even mortal man has heard at one time or another the quotes of our Savior in reference to “profit”, and I’ll quote the book of Matthew as to the subject of which.

In the, NKJV – Matthew ch., 16 v., 26 … For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or rather the question should be as to – what will a man give in exchange for his soul? Granted the same paraphrase is alluded to in the books of Mark – ch.,8:36 and, as well as Luke – 9: 25.

But this is not the type of profit I refer to in this segment. What I will say is to the actual term of Prophet (spelled as P_R_O_P_H_E_T and not the latter, which is spelled as P_R_O_F_I_T.)

Now I can see, and understand how confusing the English language can appear to those that don’t grasp the incidentals of it. I should also note here that the word known as Prophet , p_h_e_t, was termed differently in Israel (That is to say that, when a man went to get guidance and understanding of Gods word, he spoke to a “SEER”, now called a prophet.) In this next book, 2ND Chronicles I will make mention of the dealings with the Trustworthiness and even the Rejection of the Prophets. Thought brief as they may be.

Again in the, NKJV – 2ND Chronicles, 20: 20 … Refers to the first ( Trustworthiness) When Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

The two notations of inference here are ( be established ) and, ( shall prosper.) The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary states the word ( established as ) to institute (as a law) permanently by enactment or as I think of it, as one being anchored in … and, the term ( shall prosper ) as to become strong and flourishing.

So when you think about what this verse really means it can be said that to believe in the Lord God is to be permanently anchored in your belief and understanding, of His promises and when you come to an understanding of this concept, then you shall be enriched for the better coming to the realization of this fact by one who is sent by God to you, thus allowing you to be factually informed as to His truth. And I don’t mean the “prophets version of truth but, that of Gods truth or rather promise.

Now also in the book of the 2ND Chronicles 36: 15 -16 deals with the rejection of prophets and states. The LORD God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place. 16) But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

These verses are not quite as simple to grasp to an unbelievers understanding. That is, as it is and should be taken more seriously. In verse 15 the greater inference is the “warning” which has been sounded from the roof tops sense it was written. Yet many in the modern era still just think them to be just the ramblings of a time long ago and not as relevant today.

I recon that is why what jumps off the page here, (at least to me is) that most folks know and understand what a warning is. Just the thought of it is rather scary and unsettling. Benjamin Franklin who most assuredly is one of our nations wisest men was quoted as to have said “Early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.” I often wonder if he came to this realization of fact from this verse where the author states, “ by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people. Another clushay of a quote is that “the early bird gets the worm”… LOL… it only makes better since to draw the conclusion through these clushays to bring home a point of reference and understanding that the words “early rising, send or rather sent them, meaning the ones who tried to bring understanding to the people. The same can be said of us even to this day. That the clushay quote reference to the word “worm”, means as it is referred to in many passages of the Holy Scriptures as “meat” and no folks not the understanding of the word to meet someone, but rather to the reference of the subsistence and comprehension. Be it a real life-sustaining nourishment or the nourishment of ones soul. Preferably to your soul and to your betterment of understanding of Gods “warnings.”.

We as a whole, of our human nature still denounce the teachings of Christ Jesus and the Prophets, as mankind did all those many years ago. When the author states that God, “had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.” still holds a great truth today. There is a small clarification on the tail end of this passage that refers to “His dwelling place”, which may need that clarification.

Yes God still has compassion on the human race, so don’t get your bees in a bonnet….lol…I am referring to a two-fold meaning of the word dwelling. Which means to “dwell or live within, and they are that of the obvious, which being is Jerusalem, in Israel. Not the Jerusalem in Yates County, New York .

No disrespect intended to the folks that call it home. But rather as the term dwelling being Zion, Church, Temple and or held in endearment in one’s heart. It is why the Holy Trinity has not given up on us, where He has patients and, many times we don’t. He is not without limits. I mean, we all have been a bit short fused from time to time not only with our fellow-man but when things don’t go our way we turn our wrath on Him. He is the one who never wavers on compassion, forgiveness and yes even love.

However, as the author puts it so succinctly, that being “But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

Here’s a question for you, are not ministers, priests, clerics and clergy in general still not taken seriously even today? So, if true, than we can conclude there is still relevance in these words as to Gods messengers ( that is as godly men and women are referred to).

Many in the world today “despise His words, mostly because, (and I think,) that there is a perception that His word takes all the “fun” out of life and that it is words that mean “don’t s. I have to say that this is so far from the truth that it “almost becomes laughable to even contemplate the notion.” However, it should be a blue print in our lives as to how to live life. How to act with regards to respect as with person, places and things. And for now a better term would be, “reverence” to the world around us.

Yet now comes the hard part for folks to come to grips with and that is because we have been brainwashed to the point of excrescence that God is the opposite of that last part of the 16Th verse, which being “until the wrath of the LORD arose against His people, till there was no remedy.”

It seems to me that mankind forgets that God has a temper and like us He does become short in patients and also that we are constantly in violation of the second commandment given to Moses by God himself and that being “Thou shalt have no other gods before me”! Please before you say it isn’t so, think! Do we by an act of human nature, place things in a higher standing in our lives than this one commandment? Think about it for a moment, would you not be even somewhat put a miffed if you yourself have to take the back seat. That is in regard to what you thought was more or even most important? Then it only goes to show and reenforced by the fact, that though God is a loving God and that He, has great compassion for you. Along with understanding as well as patients with you and even all of us in the world. Remember, so as not to forget that though you might feel like the 12 man on the football field or the 9Th man on the ball field that it is tough for us to be that “odd man out”.

So, in closing please, please don’t think of yourself any less for falling short of His glory, for God knows all to well that we are only human. And by the way, I’m thinking that my last comment here, isn’t likely to hold any weight when it comes to judgment-day. I thank the heavens that Christ walked this same world as you and I, and that He suffered and died to save all mankind.

With warmest and sincere affection to all, God bless and don’t forget, He made you in His image and that He didn’t make any “junk”, only mankind does…Love always,
