Adrianne Kendell – People think it’s a Game, but He is not realizing that one of the GREATEST areas where the WARFARE will be is IN the FOOD!!!!!!! OBESITY IS KILLING FOLKS. Left and right…..!!!

Archbishop Andrew Manley – One of the “seven deadly sins” is “gluttony “, which would entail over eating as part of the definition. It is most likely one sin that is most overlooked by mankind today. Do to the social climate for which we all live. Awareness and Action are required. Along with a willingness to change personal habits by seeking help to over come this trait of human behavior. So your right, Sister Adrianne Kendell in your statement. However are people in society today willing to change to this awareness and make the tough choice to do so? That is yet for them and God to know and to influence. It may come from comments like the ones posted here or by loving people around those individuals through intervention. Either way the process has to start and people have to take notice and get involved for the sake of all mankind. Gluttony is a sin so that would make obesity a sin as well. For the human body is the temple and home to God the Father in every human being and it needs to be attended to quickly… Bless you all and bless you Sister for posting this topic for discussion… Sincerely IHS and yours, Ab. Crossroads: The Consequences of Redefining Marriage
By Heather Sells
CBN News Reporter

Supporters of gay marriage have reached a major goal, with two cases — California’s Proposition 8 and the Defense of Marriage Act — before the U.S. Supreme Court. That platform and recent wins on the state level have provided new momentum for their cause.

But as the New York Times recently acknowledged, a new generation is emerging to defend traditional marriage.

Ryan Anderson, a fellow at the influential Heritage Foundation and author of the book What Is Marriage?, argues that redefining marriage makes the institution more about adult desires than children’s needs.

“Marriage exists to bring a man and a woman together as husband and wife to be father and mother to any children their union produces,” Anderson wrote in a March 20 Heritage Foundation article.

“Marriage is based on the biological fact that reproduction depends on a man and a woman and on the social reality that children need a mother and a father,” he continued.

“And as ample social science has shown, children tend to do best when reared by their mother and father,” he concluded.

Is the battle for traditional marriage lost? Heritage Foundation fellow Ryan Anderson will address that question and more on “The 700 Club,” May 3.

The Consequences of Redefining Marriage

————–

My views are well documented on this subject, and I hold firm to my personal and spiritual belief of the status of marriage as defined in the Holy Scriptures. I will even go a step further by posting and post here our ministry’s position on the subject which is stated in our ministry’s doctrine and belief statement, located on the ministry website.

Quote:   MARRIAGE: We defer this issue to the reference of Gospel referred to in the book of;
Matthew, chapter 19 verses 4 – 6 and it states as follows; 4) And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ 5) and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? 6) So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate”.(NKJV)

Note: The sanctity of marriage is sacred and no other union is acceptable. This goes also for the general consensus that Gay and Lesbian couples should be allowed the sacred right of the union of marriage. This union would be by scriptures standard a sin, in the eyes of God.  For the sake of debate and argument we here in the ministry of the Universal Life Church of the Celtic Cross and the Independent Catholic Church of the Celtic Cross as well as the Celtic Cross Foundation of Ministry and all of it’s subsidiaries, hold fast and dear to our heart and biblical belief, the sanction of the union of matrimony. Only recognizing it as between a man and a woman and all other circumstance are ungodly and a sin. We in this ministry and our affiliate ministries do not and will not support such sanctions or said union of the such under any circumstance. For the Law of God supersedes and is the precedence for which we stand united with the creator. If mankind rules to allow such a union than let the governments preform the service through the means of the Justice of the Peace, the Mayor or if at sea than by the Captain of the vessel, but by no means will a  union be preformed or sanctioned by this ministry or any affiliate member or ministry.

Sincerely yours in the fight to protect all things Sacred and Holy Word of God,

Bishop Andrew R. M. Manley DD. O. S. A., O.S.P.

2013 the year of repentance, a new beginning…

Greetings fellow citizens of the world and Christian Warriors,

With 2013 fast approaching I want to take a moment to advise you of our commitment to you. We here at Celtic Cross Ministry have designated this year as the year of repentance. Meaning that this year you have an opportunity to change from doing things that are not pleasing to God and become the person He knows and wants you to be. It all starts with your responsibility to yourself and what it is to change something about our life that maybe causing you to not do the right thing or better yet keeping you from doing the wrong thing that you know is causing you to sin.

I’m not going to bore you with a list of items that are unpleasing to the creator, mainly because most everyone knows in their heart what is right and what is wrong. Lets put it this way for a moment. If you feel that what you are doing, going to do or are even thinking about is wrong, harmful or destructive to you or someone else, than you can pretty much bet that it is a sin in the eyes and heart of our heavenly Father. And if so you know you need to change your way of thinking and or acting.

With that said, here’s our commitment to you. Over the days, weeks and months ahead we will put up comments and articles as well as other topic relating subject matter that we feel might bring awareness to the general public on any given topic. These topics may include and addition to alcohol or drug abuse, domestic violence to pornography or even as far as human trafficking or child endangerment.

We intend to bring you information in a variety of formats to help you to grow to a point of becoming a better person and or even a better “Christian”. And it all starts with the realization that you are not perfect and that improvements for the positive is a better choice than the alternative. The alternative being an eternity in hell, or better yet being on the outside of heaven looking in. I really don’t think anyone really wants that to be the case for their life eternal. But we here at the Celtic Cross Foundation of Ministry will try to bring even the toughest hard-core individual around to enlighten them as to what Christ is, What He expects. And to what degree one must go in order to achieve the promises of Jesus Christ and an eternal life in the presence of God Himself.

We hope our efforts will not be in-vain. It is with great love and admiration for all people that we worry about your soul, more so than your personal feelings. God can help you with that and we’ll do what we can to aid our Lord to put the fear of God back in the mainstream of society. Granted it is with the love of God we do this and take this stance and it is that same love that God has put it into our hearts and in the hearts of those that need it the most.

We see a genuine problem with society in general and a lack luster attitude that will cause billions of people (fellow brothers and sisters if you will), to maybe condemning their eternal soul to an eternity of unrest. And a great unrest at that. We don’t want anyone to experience the latter of this statement. But as stated will offer you an opportunity to turn your life around and be all that Christ wants you to be.

So check back often for access to links and information that will only help you and help others around you to be that better person, that watchman to the sky and even a better more committed Christian with a better understanding of what it not only means to call ones self a Christian but to be the best Christian Christ wants you to be. Not only for yourself but for those around you and as a light on a hill for the world to see and want.

May this year of 2013, be the year of a new commitment to yourself through the love of your savior Jesus Christ. It will only re-enforce how much He truly loves you.

Sincerely yours in the service of Jesus Christ.
